The Flying R Guest Cabins and Lodge are located in Southwestern Montana, in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley, 60 miles from the nearest airport in Missoula, MT. Traveling to Missoula can be pricey at times, so try an alternate airport such as Spokane, WA or Salt Lake City, UT if you have extra time and want to experience driving in the west. Salt Lake City is approximately 7 hours from us, and Spokane is about 5 hours.
Driving directions from Missoula: take highway 93 south through the Bitterroot Valley to Darby, Montana. Continue south for 4 more miles to Route 473, also marked West Fork Road. Turn right and travel 1.8 miles to our sign on the right side of the road. Turn right into drive, go left at the fork, and come up the hill. You'll see the cabins first, drive continues on to our lodge/residence. Approximate driving time from Missoula is 1.5 hours.
Driving directions from Lost Trail Pass/Salmon, Idaho: travel on highway 93 north to mile marker 26 where you will see our blue highway sign. Turn left onto Route 473 (also marked as West Fork Road), continue 1.8 miles to our sign and follow as above.
