Flying R Guest Cabins & Lodge
The Flying R Guest Cabins and Lodge is your doorway to adventure in Montana, where the choices are limited only by your imagination or stamina. We at the Flying R spend as much time as possible recreating in our magnificent backyard, and are happy to offer advice on trails, equipment rental, weather expectations, and directions.
Some of our favorite excursions include hiking Lake Como Trail to the waterfall, floating the West Fork of the Bitterroot, mountain biking Rye Creek ridge, shopping at the Saturday Hamilton Farmer's Market, or attending one of the many local festivals. The mighty Salmon River, located just 2 hours from the Flying R is a favorite day trip, either with your own equipment or on a guided outing.
If the great outdoors isn't what you're yearing for, meander through the local antique stores, shop for unique made in Montana gifts, visit the Daly Mansion, take in a show at the Performing Arts Center, enjoy a theatre production by the Hamilton Players, or visit the Bitterroot Brewery for local beer and live music.
